Set of four Art Deco chairs; France, circa 1925. Walnut wood. Measurements: 103 x 44.5 x 45 cm. Set of four dining chairs in full Art Deco style, with a structure based on the emphatic straight lines and the play of curved, rhythmic and regular staggered lines, typical of this language. They have a trapezoidal seat with a straight waist, decorated with perpendicular carved gadroons on the front, the lines of which are continued on the front legs, forming double tubular columns. The back legs, on the other hand, follow the typology of the neoclassical sabre leg, curving slightly backwards to lend lightness to the design. The backrest is rectangular and high, with two triangular-shaped lower openings and a central stepped blade. The set of perpendicular gadroons is repeated on the top of the rim as a crowning element.
