In this canvas the author offers us a landscape at the same time daily and idyllic, empty of all human presence, giving the protagonism to the vegetation, the light effects that filter through the trees and affect the rest of the elements that conform the image and three swans take the protagonism in the centre of the work. This landscape is painted with a markedly atmospheric accent, based on a delicate treatment of colour and the study of natural light. The Catalan school has a great tradition and mastery of landscape painting, firstly because of its proximity to France, which linked them through friendships with Impressionist artists, who exerted a certain influence on the Catalan school.
