Salavin, Paris, Hôtel Drouot 7 December 1973, no. 45 (attributed to Brouwer) Our painting is a period revival of a lost painting by Adrien Brouwer. Konrad Renger counts seventy paintings by the artist and considers numerous copies from the painter's time. Another painting representing the same composition, of doubtful attribution, is kept in the Czernin von Chudenitz collection in Vienna (see G.
