A reproduction of the manuscript, now in the Bibliothèque Nationale, made between 1410 and 1412 on commission by Giovanni dell'Intrepido, Duke of Burgundy of the travel diary of the fictional Sir Jean de Mandeville. The work was certainly compiled in the late 14th-century and it describes the itinerary from Europe to Jerusalem and then to the Middle East, to India, China, Africa and exotic kingdoms. The Gothic school codex was illuminated by three French artists: the "Mazarine Master," the "Cité des Dames Master" and "the Egerton Master." . (420 x 300mm). Copy no. 177 of 900.
