A reproduction of the codex created in 1436 for Pietro Donato, bishop of Padua, from a previous Carolingian manuscript which contains a 5th century Roman state register containing information on the military and civil organization of the late Roman Empire. The work was illuminated by Perronet Lamy in Basel with 109 illustrations based on classical examples.
