jesters in the sleigh - sitting in the sleigh dressed as a lady, the court jester Gottfried Schmiedel and behind him his comrade-in-arms Joseph Fröhlich with the pointed hat. A monkey seated in front of the pair, design by J.J. Kändler around 1735, A wonderful staffage. Very elaborately modeled figure, blue swords mark, form number 73018, Pfeiffer brand 251, embosser number 124, 1st choice, due to the few formations, this figure is one of the rarest Meissen figures, 15 cm x 28 cm x 7.5 cm
