André-Romain GUILMET (1827-1892)
Lighthouse clock with movement in the shape of a nautical lighthouse.
Weather station circa 1890: pendulum, barometer and two thermometers.
Brass and bronze, polished, silvered on black marble base.
A production of Guilmet, part of the series of "mysterious industrial clocks".
A second mechanism in the base turns the upper part.
The mechanisms work, the clock keeps the time well.
Particularity of this model: the very finely worked hands, always on the nautical theme.
H : 67 cm
