German bottle, mid-19th century.
Enamelled porcelain.
With stamp on the base manufactured by Helena Wolfsohn.
Measurements: 44 cm.
The bottle that we present here belongs to the Helena Wolfsohn manufacture in Dresden, Germany, and was made around 1843. It has a globular body and a high neck, decorated with port scenes contained in poly-lobed pavilions. Brightly coloured floral, vegetal and grecciform motifs stand out against the white background, creating a highly decorative composition. The piece is crowned by a moulded cap that continues the stylistic pattern of the rest of the composition.
