Empire style console table, mid 20th century. Gilded wood, ebonised, with marquetry and marble top. Measurements: 97,5 x 197 x 51 cm. Empire style console table, made of carved wood, gilded, ebonised, with marquetry and marble top. It is a piece of furniture with monumental lines, architecturally inspired and totally classical although synthesised, in a certain way geometrical, as is typical of the Empire style. It has a rectangular structure, decorated with two classical columns with Corinthian capitals at the front. It is also decorated through the use of marquetry with vegetal and geometric elements. The greenish marble top finishes the piece of furniture in the upper part.
