France Lady bust and pedestal
designed by Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse (1824 Anizi le Chateau to 1887 Sèvres), signed, made circa 1900, uninterpreted relief mark HA & Cie, naturalistic molding in bisque porcelain, polychrome painted, gold painted and decorated with enamel dots, on a profiled round base shoulder piece of a young woman with head bowed to the side and unbuttoned lace blouse, the flowing hair decorated with a long ribbon and a rose blossom, good condition due to age with barely visible burnt crack at the base, attached not quite fitting profiled round base over square plinth with cobalt blue underglaze background and gold staffage, blue brushed Sèvres imitation mark with appendix BB, some burnt defects and upper finish multiple chipped, dimensions base 15 x 19 x 19 cm, D top 11,5 cm, H bust 37,5 cm.
