Spanish school, late 19th century.
"Goyaesque procession".
Watercolour drawing on paper.
Size: 16 x 22 cm; 26 x 32 cm (frame).
In a landscaped place, two manolas exchange confidences and adopt gestures and looks in front of the gentleman who tries to conquer them. The drawing is probably inspired by Goya's "Coloquio galante", and can also be related to Goya's engravings such as the Capricho "Por aberle yo dicho que tenia buen mobimiento no puede hablar sin colear".
