Demjansk shield. Zinc casting. On top the imperial eagle with swastika. Underneath is the inscription DEMJANSK. In the main field two crossed swords, behind them an airplane. Underneath the year 1942. Dimensions of the shield itself ca. 51 x 91 mm, with cloth backing ca. 53 x 107 mm. Age appropriate condition with traces of use.
