On the reverse with remains of an old exhibition label of the Great Berlin Art Exhibition. Framed under glass (decorative frame). Landscape and animal painter, active in Berlin. Brandes studied among others with Prof. Meyerheim. Today counted among the most important representatives of the Havelländische Malerkolonie.
