Pommerencke became court painter in Schwerin. Portraits hang in the Rostock Municipal Art Collection in the Schwerin Palace and State Museum and in the Berlin National Gallery. Depicted is the judicial councilor Friedrich Heinrich Jakob Kehl from Wesel (1802-1888).
