Two white porcelain garden stools enamelled in blue underglaze, China, 20th century.
One is decorated, on the seat and on the body, with a "willow pattern" of lake landscapes with trees, pavilions, bridges and sampans, and with openwork sapèques and knots. Four representations of precious objects and a frieze of flowers adorn the upper part and floral motifs the lower part, these parts are separated by nails molded in relief imitating the nails of traditional drums. The hollow bottom. - The other one is decorated with flowers and peony leaves on a dotted background and with openwork sapele on the seat and on the body. The upper and lower parts of the stool are decorated with various floral motifs and nails molded in relief as on the previous one. The bottom is hollow.
