Dagger of venerie XVIIIème. Total length : 700 mm. of which 550 mm. of blade. Fine flat-backed blade with a throat engraved with a ricasso line of big game being chased by dogs. Horn butt with fluted decoration. Pommel in melon ribs in the mass. Prominent rivet knob. Short bronze guard joining the fuse by a bronze ferrule. No scabbard. Condition 1.
