Very rare work in trade and of which few complete copies are known, we present only vol. III. Impressive engraved work by this sculptor, restorer and dealer of antique sculpture. Bartolomeo Cavaceppi (1716-1799) was a pupil in France of Pierre-Etinee Monnot. Around 1734 he began to collaborate, together with Carlo Antonio Napolioni, in the enlargement and restoration of one of the most ambitious and renowned sculpture collections in history, the one made by the nephew of Pope Clement I, Cardinal Alessandro Albani. His recognition from this moment on led him to work in the most important European collections, especially in England and Germany.
