A SILVER AND BOWENITE NOTE PAD HOLDER Russian, Moscow, 1908-1917, dated 1916 Set on stepped bowenite base. The hinged repoussé cover decorated with riding soldiers, foliage and engraved with initials and date '21 VIII 1916'. Marked with assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark. The bowenite base restored. 22.3 x 15.5 cm.
WRITING BLOCK HOLDER Russia, Moscow, 1908-1917, dated 1916 Bowenite, silver, cast and engraved. 22.3 cm x 15.5 cm. Hallmarked with mark of district inspection administration with fineness '84' and master's mark. On the top relief depiction of a horseman, vegetal motifs and engraved monogram and date '21 VIII 1916'. Bowenite plate rest.
