BANKSY (born in 1974). Love Welcome. Doormat made by Banksy in collaboration with Love Welcomes. Numbered # 2648 on the original fabric label. 52 x 70 cm (in its original cardboard). Note: Work originally designed for the Gross Domestic Product installation in Croydon, London in 2019. The rug is hand-sewn using the fabric of abandoned life jackets on the beaches of the Mediterranean. It was made in a Greek refugee camp
