A VERY FINE KINGWOOD – WALNUT & ROSEWOOD MARQUETRY INLAID NAPOLEON III STYLE LIFT TOP WORK / DRESSING TABLE, the shaped top with cross-banded outside edges that are bound with a brass gadrooned edge detail, and an inlaid brass detail to the centre of the top surface, the frieze with further cross-banding and gilt coloured ormolu mounts, the top opens to reveal a mirror to the underside and compartments within – beautiful engraved detail to the hinges, all raised on elegant cabriole shaped legs with brass trim and toe. Condition: in excellent condition. Dimensions: 76 x 62 x 43cm (H x W x D).
