AN IRISH GEORGE III STYLE MAHOGANY FOLD OVER ‘CASTLE TOP’ CARD TABLE, the shaped top folds back on to a gate leg support revealing a baize lined playing surface with circular a wood section to each corner for perhaps a candle or a glass, and sunken counter wells also inset to the playing surface, raised on cabriole shaped legs with a carved shell detail to the knee and a pointed pad food. The front of the frieze with a shell mount decoration. Condition: structure is excellent; the baize could do with replacing due to staining. Dimensions: 89 x 44 x 73cm (W x D x H – closed).
