CHINA, 18th century. Statuette of Buddha in stuccoed, lacquered and gilded wood. He is represented seated in padmasana, hands joined, eyes half-closed and sketching a light smile. He is dressed in a long monastic robe and wears a tiara (reported). He is presented on a modern wooden base. H Buddha alone : 44 cm (accidents and missing parts, restorations).
