The stormy composition and expressive atmosphere allow us to attribute the pair of paintings to the eccentric Venetian painter Bartolomeo Pedon. Influenced by Marco Ricci and Alessandro Magnasco and Salvator Rosa, he differs in the eccentricity of the stroke and in the almost expressive rendering of the human figure. Oil on canvas, dimensions ext. 40.5x48.5, int. 29x37.5 cm.
