Arabic manuscript of 700 leaves on paper, calligraphed in large black "naskh" on ten lines per page, decorated with 6 illuminated pages, framing nets in red and blue, separation of verses in the form of blue and red flowers alternating with green and red flowers. The titles are inscribed in long cartouches with marginal illumination. The Juz are marked in the margins by a crescent between two circles. The 'Ashirats and khamisats are indicated by various pastilles.
The first frontispiece is inscribed in ornamental thuluth: "Tanzil min rab al-A'lamin / for believers". The second double frontispiece illuminates Sura al-Fatiha and Sura al-Baqara.
The third double frontispiece, f.359b360a, in the middle of the Qur'an, gives the name of the calligrapher.
