Baudelaire in profile in hat (2nd pl.). 1862. Etching. 74 x 130 (the sheet : 220 x 330 mm). Guérin 31. A good proof printed in bistré black on old azure laid paper, from the edition of 30 proofs made for Dumont in 1894. Light foxing and marginal traces of oxidation. Two small remnants of gummed kraft in the center at the head and foot of the sheet. All margins.
Provenance: collection of the painter Ignacio Zuloaga y Zabaleta (1870-1945), then by descent.
