Edgar Poe. Etching. 150 x 190 (the sheet : 200 x 310 mm). Guérin 55. A very fine proof printed in black on thin cream laid paper, from the edition of 30 proofs made for Dumont in 1894. Fine trace of oxidation at the opening of an old mount and another light trace at the edges of the sheet. A few tiny spots of rust. All margins.
Provenance: collection of the painter Ignacio Zuloaga y Zabaleta (1870-1945), then by descent.
