Coffee set, 16 pieces - Count Thun's porcelain factory Klösterle near Karlovy Vary, end of 19th c. Porcelain. Painted and gilded decorations. Empire shape with handles. Decorated in the style of Viennese porcelain of the early 19th century with gold tendrils in turquoise, red and blue fields. Rectangular cartouches with colorful mythological depictions on the sides. The picture field of the tray is marked C. Herr. Blue banded shield in the style of Vienna, partly pressed mark TK. Partly damaged. In original transport case. Consisting of two jugs, sugar bowl, six cups with saucers and tray. Provenance: Sotheby's auction Thurn und Taxis, Regensburg 1993, lot 2367. Cf. Neuwirth, Waltraud, Wiener Porzellan.
