A Small & Extremely Rare Medieval Bronze Thorny Stemmed Pricket Candlestick, late 12th / Early 13th Century Romanesque Period. The pricket centring a trefoil top above a round stem projecting thorny spikes and raised on a tripod base with barbed legs, thought to replicate the thorns of Christ, 4½'' (11.5 cm) high.
