She often plays with the viewer's perceptions of the mundane and traditional, using augmented reality to complement her message. Yunuene lives and works in Mexico City. Esparza's contemporary art has been exhibited in landmark museums including Museo Soumaya, Museo Nacional de Arte MUNAL, Centro Nacional de las Artes, Museo de la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores MUBO and within the CDMX Metro system.
