RAFAEL TIMONER (Menorca, 1964). "Yves Klein". Methacrylate and metal. Measurements: 50,5 x 50,5 cm. Rafael Timoner includes in this work the indications corresponding to Yves Klein's painting "Ant 50", one of the pieces in the series Antropométries that brought the representative of Body Art to worldwide prominence. Timoner indicates that Klein's painting was made with blue pigment on marouflé paper adhered to canvas, signed and dated at the bottom right. Rafael Timoner presents himself as "a multidisciplinary artist with proposals under a personal conceptual and minimalist style". He has been working in the visual arts for more than 30 years, developing different techniques in painting, sculpture, photography, video art and installations. He is currently experimenting with audio and video synthesis. Throughout his career he has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
