OLIVIA GOZZANO, (Rome, 1967). "Kokin", 2022. Mixed media on canvas. Size: 70 x 70 x 4 cm. The work will be available approximately 15 days after payment has been made. Roman by birth and Milanese by adoption, art has been in Olivia's blood for several generations. She is the great-granddaughter of Guido Gozzano, the "twilight" poet, and the daughter of a photographer mother and her inventor and videomaker father. After art school, she started working as an assistant photographer for various studios. She then worked as an actress for a while, but photography remained in her heart and she started working as a professional again in Tuscany, where she photographed everything from still life to interiors, perfecting her technique more and more. Back in Milan, he explored other areas of photography: editorial services, portraits, fashion and landscapes. In particular, she is fascinated by uninhabited landscapes. More than for the subject, Olivia Gozzano is attracted by the intimate relationship she establishes with it when she portrays it, regardless of whether it is a place or a person. The result is dense, sometimes dreamlike and unexpected images, traces of stories lived or yet to be lived. At the same time, she experiments with new languages and techniques that lead her to exhibit and participate in special exhibitions or editorial work. Olivia Gozzano's photographs have been published by several newspapers: Vanity Fair, Elle (project "Icone Femminili"), Io Donna, TuStyle, F, Alias manifesto, Style-italia (China), Eretz Magazine (Israel).
