Petit cabinet dit “Piccolo Stipo“.
Opening with eight drawers framing a "tabernacle" door and resting on four turned legs. Black polished wood with guilloche moldings. Inlaid with nets and engraved ivory plates with animated landscapes and two deer facing each other in foliage. Tie-rods and side grips in gilded metal. Northern Italy. 17th century. Dimensions : 36 x 24 x 45 cm. From a private collection. Acquired at the Prunier auction house in Louviers (France) on December 1, 2013. With its purchase invoice and its European CITES certificate.
