Long flintlock pistol with the oriental of reward, of strong gauge, 50 mm approximately. Round barrel, with sides, with the thunder decorated of money, punched and die-cast. Lock signed "Manceaux à Paris" and swan neck hammer chased with foliage. Iron basin with spark guard. Important silver fittings, punched, with embossed decoration of flowers, bouquets and foliage. Walnut frame. Long shaft stock with thumb piece. Iron ramrod. Length : 45 cm ( one pommel ear, one ramrod) . These pistols were often offered as a reward by King Louis-Philippe to tribal chiefs who rallied to France .
