Colt Model 1860 Army six-shot percussion revolver, .44 caliber,
8" (240 mm) round barrel, rifled, with "Address Col. SAMl COLT New-York US America". Cylinder engraved with the famous naval battle and "Colt patent n 77305 Pat Sept 10th 18". Carcass marked "COLTS Patent". Brass trigger guard stamped "44 Cal" with remaining silver plating. Finely checkered walnut stock plates.
With an adaptable varnished walnut stock, with brass fang mount, with steel clamping screw and ring and brass buttplate, numbered "2286".
Revolver in good condition, partly with remnants of bluing and repatination.

Presented in a case (posterior), in drowning varnished (crack), compartmentalized and sheathed inside of green cloth.
