Round barrel, rifled, with marking "Colt PT FA MFG Hartford USA Patented Aug. 5. 1884 - November 6. 1888". Closed frame with remainder of initials. Recessed cylinder tilting to the left. Hardened rubber stock plates checkered with Colt acronym.
Renickel finish (traces of pitting, reconditioned).
