Indo-Portuguese figure of Mary of the Rosary. Ivory. India, Goa. 17th/18th c. Standing on separately carved base with large leaves, with her left hand she supports the seated baby Jesus with orb, in her drooping right she holds a rosary. Unusual are the crown on and the radiant wreath around the head of the infant Jesus. Numerous missing parts. Crack.
