Teapot, coffee pot and milk jug. North India, Lucknow. Late 19th century.
The teapots are bulbous and conical with elephant knob and hemispherical knob on the lid and movable handle. All decorated in drift work with elephants, lions and other animals between date palms, on which men and animals climb up, the so-called jungle pattern. Teapot and milk jug with snake handle.
