MANUSCRITS. 10 autograph notebooks, 1928 - 1952. Diary, memoirs and souvenirs, poems, in French, Romanian or English; some illustrated with drawings. One is dedicated to her lover and adopted son, Marc Favrat. Plus a notebook of poems in English, calligraphed and illuminated (bound in parchment).
6 notebooks or books of DRAWINGS; plus drawings in sheets and a book of embroidery patterns.
PHOTOGRAPHS. - 2 albums of photos of the Queen: portraits, ceremonies, her funeral. - Booklet containing about 90 photos of her and her residences. - Set of various photos; her coffin in the family tomb in Sigmaringen. - Photograph of Queen Elisabeth of Belgium, dedicated to the Marquis de Favrat.
Various documents. Guestbook bound with his number with numerous signatures (1925 - 1954). Condolences and notes on the death of Carol II and the funeral service in Cannes. Letters to her and to prince Marc (telegrams, condolences). Clippings of press. Act of notoriety (1956). Inventories, addresses, register of condolences. File on his succession.
A notebook of Queen Marie of Romania (oblong in-16, 237 p., bound in half brown basane) is attached: texts and poems in English, with some drawings and watercolors.
