Lintel decorated with heads, Taiwan, Yami

The lintel is decorated with a frieze in light relief of juxtaposed heads that seem to be linked together. It is not known whether this is a gallery of portraits of ancestors or whether it represents the shelf where the trophies of the head hunters were displayed.
