Porcelaine de Paris, group of figures 'Couple with flower basket on rocaille base', Marc Eugène Bloch, France 1868-1887, polychrome painted with gold staffage, a woman sitting on the ground, slumbering, resting her head on her left arm on a rock, behind a tree trunk a man approaches her with his outstretched left hand holding a flower branch to the woman's face, at the feet of the figures lies a richly filled basket with flowers, dimensions (LxHxW): ca. 24 x 29 x 16,5 cm, inside of the base cavity unglazed blue sword mark with the letters E u. C, partially chipped on flowers, the leaves of the tree trunk as well as the middle finger of the right female hand, min. fire cracks and defects, possibly break off at the trousers of the man. Possibly in imitation of a model from Meissen.
