Clock in chased and gilded bronze, lacquered metal and polychrome porcelain.
The dial surrounded by palms and rocaille emerges from a bush of flowers. It is enamelled white with Roman numerals and signed CAUSARD A PARIS.
It is underlined by an allegorical group in German porcelain polychrome and gold symbolizing the spring represented by two characters standing near an openwork basket full of flowers, an angel sitting on the base. The flowers in relief surrounding the dial partly 18th century.
Restorations on the arms of the characters and flowered basket, some petals of flowers damaged.
Louis XV period.

Georges Causard, clockmaker received Master in 1770 or his brother Edme, died in 1780.
