Ferdinand BARBEDIENNE (1810-1892)
Pair of basins or craters in chased and gilded bronze with floral decoration of polychrome cloisonné enamels. The fluted bowl presents a band alternating with lambrequins and lion's heads. The side holds a faun's head. Rests on cambered uprights with scrolls and lion paws supported by a concave red griotte marble base.
