Erben) 1747. With numerous text copperplates and several full-page portraits of rulers. Leather covered wooden binding, formerly fittings. 39 x 27 x 17 cm. Binding age-toned, rubbed, soiled. Fittings missing, traces of insect damage. Edges darkened and with small lesions, internally in overall good condition. Copper partly spotted. Large Bible from Nuremberg, 1747. Old and New Testament with text illustrations (copperplate engravings) and some whole page portraits. Wooden cover, leather skin, formerly metal mountings. Cover age-appropriate dirty and with losses, some traces of insect bites. Margins darkened and with small tears, inside allover good condition. Some of the whole page engravings with stains.
