Brush drawing in ink with watercolor and gouache, partially heightened with tempera. On paper, laminated on wooden board. 1st half of the 19th century. Unsigned. On the reverse handwritten provenance reference from the artist's nephew, dated London 1858. Here also reference to the artist. Unframed. 72.5 x 54.5 cm. Browned and somewhat faded in color. Sheet with tears, creases and traces of insect damage, especially at the corners. Small lack at top center. Edges rubbed and bumped. Fair at the chapel La Fierte Saint-Romain in Rouen (Normandy, France). Brush drawing in ink, watercolor and tempera. On paper, mounted on wood. 1st half 19th century. Unsigned. Backside with handwritten label by the nephew of the artist, dated London 1858; here also remark on the artist. Unframed. Tanned brownish and colors faded. Paper with tears and cuts and bends as well as insect traces. Top middle with small loss. Margins rubbed and torn.
