Framed. Little is known about the painter active in Dresden in the first half of the century. The brother of Georg Erler appeared as a graphic artist and caricaturist. He maintained a studio in Dresden on Ziegelstraße (house No. 22) and was represented at the art exhibition Dresden 1936 with a painting (tempera) ''Heldenfriedhof in Kärnten''.
