Art Nouveau style lamp. Italy, 1970s.
Gilded metal structure and Murano glass lampshades.
Measurements: 100 x 80 x 70 cm.
Ceiling lamp of light design thanks to the six metallic arms that twist in a stylised way. From each one of them hangs a light in the shape of a vegetal lampshade. This lampshade is made of two convex Murano glass panes which, when joined together, create a delicate volume reminiscent of a flower bud before it opens. The glass used is white, which allows for greater illumination. Art Nouveau is inspired by nature, from which it adopts the sinuous, organic shapes that provide the warmth that is so important in a home. These whip-like lines, reminiscent of arms, will be infinitely used in this wonderful style.
