A Victorian mourning brooch in Etruscan Revival design, of domed circular form, centered with a daisy head cluster of garnet-topped-doublet and seed pearls, set to the central dome within a concave design, encompassed with a frame of applied twisted rope and granulate decoration, outer surround further adorned with reeded details, secured to the reverse with a hinged pin and C-catch, with safety chain below, inset with display compartment, yellow metal unmarked, testing 18 ct, overall measuring 4.0 cm across, the total weight of item 17.9 grams.
