Important gilt bronze clock featuring Apollo, genius of the Arts, leaning on a post decorated with stars and foliage motifs, flanked on both sides by thyrses.
The dial with Roman numerals for the hours has a rich engraved decoration encircled by a snake biting its tail.
Resting on a quadrangular base decorated with garlands of laurels, ribbons, rosettes, butterflies and friezes of water leaves.
Signed on the side "Thomire à Paris".
Work of the Empire period.
