Initially an illustrator for Laffont and Albin Michel, Patrice Laurioz trained in the workshop of André Pawlikowski. He develops a colorful palette, giving life to his contemporary and figurative compositions that capture scenes of Moroccan life. Like Jacques Majorelle and Henri Pontoy before him, he travels throughout Morocco in search of his inspiration.
