Large flat desk in violet wood marquetry in satinwood frames. The tray is encircled by a lingotère enriched with spandrels at each corner and covered with a red leather decorated with flower baskets and scrolls. The curved belt opens with three drawers and simulates three other drawers on the opposite side. It rests on four arched feet. Louis XV period. Beautiful ornamentation of gilded bronzes with foliage, rocaille, shells and curved legs.
